Who are we?

” sometimes you only need one person who says: I see you” That one sentence summarizes for me what education is about.

Together we build a world in which everyone can participate. I use my knowledge and experiences from my previous role at LAKS, my studies and my work in healthcare.

I went to 13 different schools and everywhere I got stuck, this is what drives me today as a policy advisor.

The Voice of the child too often perishes under the noise of the bureaucracy. This needs to change and that is why I am committed to the advisory council to represent the perspective of children on (school)policy loud and clear.

I hope that together we can shout loudly enough until someone hears us and protects our youth.

I refused to fit into a system that didn't take my talents and challenges seriously.

Because of my positive and negative experiences, I would like to commit myself to even more inclusive education and more attention for thuiszitters is the reason why I am committed as a volunteer for Adviesraad ÉigenWijsheid!
